Pioneer CT-W620R
Dolby B NR Full Logic Metal Tape

The Pioneer CT-W620R is a stereo double cassette deck with Dolby B noise reduction, it was introduced by Pioneer in 1993.

The main features of the Pioneer CT-W620R are: 2 heads, automatic tape type selection with support for normal, chrome and metal tapes, belt driven auto reverse transport.

Typical front loading double cassette deck with the cassette compartiment located on both sides of the deck. Tape eject is operated mechanically and the cassette needs to be placed with the side to be played facing forward in the cassette well.

Level meters used on the CT-W620R are generic digital peak reading meters. Full-logic transport controls used on the CT-W620R let it respond to the slightest finger contact for fast and effortless transport function selection.

The Dolby-B system reduces tape hiss on tapes recorded on the CT-W620R by as much as 10 dB at the highest frequencies.
