Aiwa AD-WX828
Dolby B NR Full Logic Metal Tape

The Aiwa AD-WX828 is a stereo double cassette deck with Dolby B noise reduction, it was introduced by Aiwa in 1992 and discontinued a year later.

The main features of the Aiwa AD-WX828 are:, electronic tape counter with 4 digits, tape type selection with support for normal, chrome and metal tapes.

Typical front loading double cassette deck with the cassette compartiment located on both sides of the deck. Tape eject is operated mechanically and the cassette needs to be placed with the side to be played facing forward in the cassette well.

Level meters used on the AD-WX828 are generic digital peak reading meters. Full-logic transport controls used on the AD-WX828 let it respond to the slightest finger contact for fast and effortless transport function selection.

The Dolby-B system reduces tape hiss on tapes recorded on the AD-WX828 by as much as 10 dB at the highest frequencies.

Connection to other audio components for plaback can be achieved by a RCA cable and recording from a source by a RCA cable.
