Uher CR-240
Dolby B NR Soft Touch

This Uher CR-240 is a stereo cassette deck with Dolby B noise reduction, it was first sold by Uher in 1979 with a manufacturer suggested retail price of USD $1,300.

The main features of the Uher CR-240 are: 2 heads, mechanical 3 digit tape counter, tape type selection and capable of handling normal tapes.

Typical front loading cassette deck with the cassette compartiment located on the right side of the deck.

Level meters used on the CR-240 are analog needle VU reading meters. Soft-touch controls for fast and easy transport function selection of the CR-240.

The Dolby-B system reduces tape hiss on tapes recorded on the CR-240 by as much as 10 dB at the highest frequencies.
