This Sharp RD-428 is a stereo cassette deck, it was first sold by Sharp in 1974 with a recommended retail price of USD $85 and discontinued 4 years later in 1978.

The main RD-428 features are, tape type selection and capable of handling normal tapes.

Tape eject is operated mechanically and the cassette needs to be placed with the side to be played facing forward in the cassette well.
