This Pioneer T-770S is a stereo cassette deck with Dolby B/C and S noise reduction, it was first sold by Pioneer in 1993.

The main features of the Pioneer T-770S are:, digital tape counter with 4 digits, tape type selection and capable of handling normal and chrome tapes.

Typical front loading cassette deck with the cassette compartiment located on the center of the deck. Tape eject is operated mechanically and the cassette needs to be placed with the side to be played facing forward in the cassette well.

Level meters used on the T-770S are generic digital peak reading meters.

Dolby S-type noise reduction gives cleaner transient response, provides lower noise levels, both at low and high frequencies, and allows higher signal levels to be recorded safely on the T-770S. Dolby S-type noise reduction provides 24 dB of high frequency noise reduction plus an additional 10 dB of low frequency noise reduction.
