Philips N2202
Wired Remote Control

This Philips N2202 is a mono cassette deck, it was first sold by Philips in 1971.

The main features of the Philips N2202 are: 2 heads, tape type selection and capable of handling normal tapes, belt driven single-capstan transport.

Typical of this deck is the 70's top loading layout with the cassette compartiment located on the center of the deck. Tape eject is operated mechanically and the cassette needs to be placed with the side to be played facing forward in the cassette well.

Level meters used on the N2202 is a single analog needle VU reading meter. Mechanical transport controls for reliable N2202 transport function selection.

For undisturbed listening a DIN connector for a pair of mono headphones is supplied. All main transport commands can be issued remotely with a wired remote control.
