Dual C 804
Full Logic

The Dual C 804 is a stereo cassette deck, it was introduced by Dual in 1981 and discontinued a year later.

The main features of the Dual C 804 are:, analog 3 digit tape counter, tape type selection with support for normal and chrome tapes, belt driven single-capstan transport.

Typical front loading cassette deck with the cassette compartiment located on the left side of the deck. Tape eject is operated mechanically and the cassette needs to be placed directly over the head block. Additionally the heads can be easilly accessed for cleaning.

Level meters used on the C 804 are analog needle VU reading meters. Full-logic transport controls used on the C 804 let it respond to the slightest finger contact for fast and effortless transport function selection.
