This Denon DR-240 is a stereo cassette deck with Dolby B noise reduction, it was first sold by Denon in 1980 with a manufacturer suggested retail price of USD $350.

The main features of the Denon DR-240 are: 2 heads, tape type selection and capable of handling normal tapes.

The Dolby-B system reduces tape hiss on tapes recorded on the DR-240 by as much as 10 dB at the highest frequencies.
