The Amstrad 6000 is a cassette deck, it was introduced by Amstrad in 1974 and discontinued a year later.

The main features of the Amstrad 6000 are: 2 heads, tape type selection with support for normal tapes.

Tape eject is operated mechanically and the cassette needs to be placed with the side to be played facing forward in the cassette well.
